Dennis Helfer is a Canadian farmer, and Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman was her mother. The two were born in Donalda, Alberta, Canada. The parents of her are Dennis and Elaine Helfer. She attended the William E. Hay Composite High School of Stettler situated in Alberta. The three sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena were also employed by her on the grain farm. A modeling agency scout discovered Helfer aged 17 when she was waiting in line to see a film.
